I am taking Lin 26 class, ESL class for academic writing. This is a class that helps us to improve our writing skills. Class is focusing on the common mistakes that we can make on articles, prepositions and more. So we are practicing these subjects in class. Also we submit papers, some long and short papers. Everyone makes a presentation for 5 minutes on a topic they choose.

pre-writing techniques

First of all I try to find some ideas that I can write about. After I pick some main ideas for my paper, I make an outline that shows the organization of my paper. Basically the outline consists: how I am going to include those main ideas, in what order and how I am going to develop main ideas.
