I am taking Lin 26 class, ESL class for academic writing. This is a class that helps us to improve our writing skills. Class is focusing on the common mistakes that we can make on articles, prepositions and more. So we are practicing these subjects in class. Also we submit papers, some long and short papers. Everyone makes a presentation for 5 minutes on a topic they choose.

pre-writing techniques

First of all I try to find some ideas that I can write about. After I pick some main ideas for my paper, I make an outline that shows the organization of my paper. Basically the outline consists: how I am going to include those main ideas, in what order and how I am going to develop main ideas.

Term Paper Topic

Topic will be about 3ds Max which is a modeling and rendering program used in many field.

Resources for term papers

First of all I search the topic online and try to find articles about the topic. They can give an idea about the subject. Another resource can be the library, sometimes I can find books or detailed information about the topic which I can't find on internet. Overall Internet is very good resource, to find articles, previous papers about the subject. Also it is easy to find new researches that are done about the topic.

email system

I prefer to use gmail system because I can mark any mail as unread if I want to check that subject again. Also, on gmail I can view the mails on same subject under one e mail. These kind of differences makes it easy to follow my e mails on gmail system.
I often email to my friends. Also it is a good way to communicate with my proffessors from different universities, this way I can ask questions and ask for their help when I am working on a difficult topic. The emails I sent to my proffessors are different form the emails I sent to my friends, they are more formal in terms of the usage of language.

I used Cad and 3DSmax studio prog. for my last project and it saved so much time for me. I like these programs in terms of rendering quality and it is easy to change some details that I don´t like at the end. It easy to go back and play with the daylight options and make it look real as possible.
